In looking upon the history of our countries politics, it becomes quite obvious that many so-called sources from which liberal thinker pull their ideas are taken directly out of context. In the issue of seperation of church and state, we see that President Jefferson was endorsing this to help those Baptist pastors who pleaded with him for reform so that the state could not endorse a specific church. This seperation of church and state was created to save the church for the state, not cleanse the state of the church. We also must come to the conclusion that no one can possibly run any institution without any personal influence in what they do, in fact, this is the majority factor in every candidates positions. Therefore, religion cannot be taken out of the public arena. While it is important to seperate the church from the state, for both parties sake, it is also important that we continue to keep a liberal minority from creating that socialism within an enforced secularization of all public life.
